Description
Red Kampot pepper is also known as the flagship of the Kampot peppers.
The Kampot region is one of the few regions in the world to produce these exclusive red peppercorns. The red berries are very fragile and require careful treatment before they are ready to be selected. Following this meticulous process, only the fully ripe red berries are hand-picked grain by grain.The red berries are then washed, scalded and dried in the sun for 2-3 days.
During the last production phase, only the superlative corns which meet the PGI standard are allowed to be sold as ‘Red Kampot pepper’.
